About
I'm Matt Lesowski, a 22-year-old student with experience in geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, and agricultural analysis.
My current work centers on understanding the relationship between people, places, and specific environments through geospatial technology. I'm particularly interested in applying satellite imagery and drone-based data collection to real-world challenges, such as agricultural monitoring and vineyard management.
Alongside my academic work, I've gained hands-on experience in Oregon's growing wine industry, working across tasting room operations and wine production. This experience has shaped my interest in both viticulture and terroir. I'm continuing to develop my skills in spatial analysis to apply technical expertise to meaningful environmental applications.
